1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how PuntMate ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the PuntMate mobile application ("App").
2. Information We Collect
- Bet & Tracking Data: Bets you log, stakes, odds, and related notes are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted to or stored on our servers.
- Bet Slip Images: When you use the AI bet-slip scanning feature, the screenshot you provide is sent securely to a third-party AI processing provider solely to detect and extract bet details. Images are processed for this purpose only and are not retained longer than necessary to complete the scan.
- Subscription & Purchase Data: Subscription purchases are processed entirely by Apple via the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment details. We may receive limited, non-identifying confirmation that a subscription is active in order to unlock features.
- Usage & Device Data: We may collect basic, non-identifying technical data (such as app version or crash diagnostics) to help us maintain and improve the App.
3. How We Use Information
We use the information above to:
- Provide and improve the App's core features (odds comparison, bet tracking, bet-slip scanning)
- Diagnose and fix technical issues
- Manage subscriptions and entitlements
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Third-Party Services
The App relies on the following categories of third-party service providers to function:
- A sports-odds data provider — supplies live odds from Australian bookmakers
- A sports statistics provider — supplies team form and performance data
- An AI processing provider — processes bet-slip screenshots for the AI scanning feature
- Apple App Store — processes subscription payments
Each of these providers has its own privacy practices governing data they process on our behalf.
5. Data Storage & Security
Your bet history and tracking data are stored locally on your device using Apple's on-device storage frameworks. We take reasonable measures to protect any data that is transmitted to third-party services, but no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.
6. Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for, and we do not knowingly collect information from, anyone under the age of 18.
7. Your Rights
Because most of your data is stored locally on your device, you can delete it at any time by removing your data within the App or uninstalling the App. To manage your subscription or request deletion of any information held by Apple on our behalf, please refer to Apple's privacy tools or contact us at puntmate@outlook.com.
8. International Data Transfers
Some third-party providers we use may process data outside Australia. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information continues to receive an appropriate level of protection.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
